What is Mi Local Perks?
Mi Local Perks (pronounced "my local perks" and short for Michigan Local Perks) is a customer service consulting company that offers a customer loyalty/shopper rewards program designed to help small to medium sized Michigan businesses attract new shoppers and retain their current customer base.
What makes us unique is that we don't just offer discounts and coupons (which in itself is awesome), but we also offer the Mi Rewards Program. That means that shoppers can earn points for shopping at businesses that are listed within our database. Those points can be redeemed for rewards, such as gift cards to Target, Meijer, Walmart, Macy's, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and more! The more shopping customers do, the more points they earn and the more rewards they qualify for! It's win-win for both the shopper and the local business.

What is the Mi Rewards Program?
The Mi Rewards Program is a shopping rewards program that is offered exclusively at Mi Local Perks. Shoppers join this program for FREE. (We never charge the Mi Rewards participant any fees, nor do we ask them to purchase anything like magazines just to become a member).
Members of Mi Rewards receive e-mail notifications about local Michigan events, local discounts and coupons, contests and other great stuff. Only Mi Rewards shoppers can participate in contests and redeem points for rewards.
Rewards are earned when a shopper takes advantage of a deal they find here at Mi Local Perks. After paying for a product or service, customers can submits receipts in exchange for points that can then be redeemed for gift cards to places like Target, Meijer, Walmart, Macy's, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and more! Is this like "Groupon"? Do I have to wait for groups to "activate" the discount?
No. Michigan Local Perks (Mi Local Perks) is different from businesses like "Groupon" and others. Each of our discounts are available to individual shoppers from the time they are placed within a business profile and remain active until the expiration date. Also, Mi Local Perks focuses ONLY on the businesses in cities throughout the great state of Michigan! This is different from many of the other coupon, discount or rewards programs that you may see today. Either they are not based in Michigan and/or they allocate resources to promotional efforts for other big cities throughout the country. We remain focused on Michigan commerce and supporting businesses within the Great Lakes State.
What if I don't see my city?
Mi Local Perks is a Michigan business database and shopping rewards program. That means that just about any Michigan business is welcome to be listed (we reserve the right to refuse a business if for some reason it is deemed inappropriate for our directory or if the terms and conditions are not met. That rarely happens though.) Each business can utilize our self-service tool to become a business member. As each business creates a business profile, the cities those businesses are in will be made available. No worries.
What if I don't see the category I'm looking for?
We are a growing database/directory. If you don't see a category, we will strive to add it. We started with a ton of categories that are very popular, but that is not to say we didn't leave any out. Tell us what you're looking for and most likely we can add it within just a few days.
How do I get my business listed in this database?
If you own a Michigan business, whether it is a home based, store front or online business, you can become a business member. There are 3 levels of membership: Platinum, Gold, Silver. Each level of membership offers unique benefits and all memberships are based on an affordable annual membership plan.
After you decide which membership option best suits your business, you may utilize our self-service tools to create your business profile. It only takes a few minutes!
